EndpointGuard IP Pinger Türkçe

IP Pinger release notes

What is new and fixed in each IP Pinger version, newest first.

IP Pinger 2.2.2

What's new

  • Columns scale with the window: Status, Last RTT, Avg, Loss and Interval keep a fixed width; Name, Address, Resolved IP and Group share the remaining space. The layout is recalculated when the window is resized and no horizontal scroll bar appears.
  • Columns you resize are kept: if you drag a column to a new width, that column keeps it and it is saved; the other columns stay proportional. Right-click a column header and choose "Reset columns" to go back to the automatic layout.

Fixes

  • The window no longer fills the screen on first start: the default size is 70% of the work area (at least 960×640, at most 1280×800), centred on the screen. A saved size is used if there is one.
  • Update window buttons no longer overlap: button widths are measured from their text and the window widens to fit them (notably in the English interface, at 125% scaling and when scaling was changed without signing out).

IP Pinger 2.2.1

What's new

  • Launch after setup: the last setup screen has a "Launch EndpointGuard IP Pinger" check box (checked by default). The app starts with the signed-in user's rights, not as administrator.
  • Also check for beta versions: new check box under Settings → Updates (off by default). When on, the update check also looks at the pre-release channel and offers whichever version is newer; beta versions are signed too and go through the same SHA-256 and signature checks.
  • DNS pool addresses: for a pool target the tooltip lists at most 20 addresses, 5 per line ("… and N more addresses"); the right-click menu has "Copy seen addresses"; the "Show all N addresses…" link in the detail line opens a list with search and a Copy button.
  • Window and columns are remembered: column widths, window size and position are saved. On first start the window is 1280×880 (fitted to the work area on smaller screens) and all columns are visible without horizontal scrolling.
  • Help: "User guide" opens the guide page directly; "Release notes" (and the button in the update window) open the IP Pinger notes in the interface language.

Fixes

  • Agent IP mismatch (cloud): on a computer with several network adapters (Wi-Fi + Ethernet) no yellow warning is shown any more when the address the Pinger picked is another address of the same device; the detail line tooltip lists the agent's primary IP, the pinged IP and all device addresses.
  • In the update window, "Download cancelled" is shown in a neutral colour instead of the error colour.
  • The publisher name in installed programs and in About is the legal name NS Yazılım ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. (with Turkish characters, same as the signature).
  • If launching after setup and the restart after an update happen at the same time, the second copy no longer shows "already running"; it brings the existing window to the front.

IP Pinger 2.2.0

What's new

  • Target name resolution: a target can be a name (host name, FQDN, NetBIOS/mDNS short name) as well as an IP address. The new "Resolved IP" column shows the address being pinged; it stays empty for IP targets.
  • Multiple addresses: when a name has several addresses (e.g. Wi-Fi + Ethernet), link-local and loopback addresses are dropped; addresses on the same subnet as the Pinger come first, then other private, then public ones; each candidate is probed 3 times and the best responding one is chosen. Other candidates appear as "+N" on the row; the full list and the reason are shown in the detail line above the chart.
  • Failover: if the selected IP does not reply for 3 rounds, the other candidates are tried first, then the name is resolved again; only if all are silent does the status become "Down". When the name has no DNS answer, the status is "Name not resolved" with its own symbol and colour.
  • IP change event: a change of the resolved IP is recorded (old → new, UTC); in cloud mode it appears in the panel on the target's Events tab and in the "IP changes" column of the SLA report. A change is not counted as downtime.
  • Agent match (cloud): if a target name matches a device with the EndpointGuard agent in your account, the agent's primary IP is preferred; a yellow warning is shown when they differ.
  • Pro charts: in cloud mode on the Pro/Business plan, the 7- and 30-day charts are available (same cloud history as the panel).
  • Right-click menu: Edit, Delete, Ping now, Pause/Resume (per target), Copy address, Open in panel, New target. With multiple selection: Delete and Pause/Resume.
  • Start with Windows: Settings › "Start IP Pinger with Windows" — the app starts in the notification area without a window and begins monitoring immediately.
  • "Open in panel" toolbar button (opens the selected target's panel page in cloud mode); User guide and Release notes in the Help menu.
  • In-app update: Help → Check for updates; checked once a day on startup, you are asked first, download and install happen inside the app (SHA-256 and signature verified).

Fixes

  • In cloud mode on the Pro/Business plan, the 7/30-day buttons stayed locked and opened the pricing page.
  • The highlight of the selected chart range was lost when another target was selected.

Note: On uninstall, the "Start with Windows" entry is removed only for the user who runs the uninstall.
